In 2019, I received a deep calling from Mount Shasta to bridge the magic of the mountains with the majesty of the ocean. So, my husband Peter and I journeyed to Big Island, Hawaii with a one-way ticket. We traveled there with open hearts and curious minds to connect with Pele’s fire, Mauna Kea’s strength, and the playful spirit of the wild spinner dolphins.
The instant my feet touched the soil, I could feel the strong life force of the island. We were gifted so much from the land…
Gorgeous tropical sunsets, ripe mangoes and avocados growing everywhere, delicious coffee, spontaneous whale sightings, and unexpectedly close encounters with wild spinner dolphins while swimming in the sacred Kealakekua, Honaunau and Hookena Bays.
My body felt so vibrant from the aliveness of the fiery mountains and the majesty of the ocean! Our first trip on Big Island ended up being nearly 3 weeks long. It was so hard to leave, even though we missed Mount Shasta dearly.
Over five years later, after numerous annual Big Island pilgrimages, we are honored to welcome our Paliuli Farm, our Big Island sister site, to the Hestia Magic sacred land network!
