THIS SPRING, HOW DO WE BREAKTHROUGH WITHOUT BURNING OUT?
Equinox. Equilibrium. Equanimity.
Cycles circulate ceaselessly. We cannot control change. We can choose to center and connect with our balance point around which all pivots. Thus allowing us to dance together these dualities of life.
Highs and lows. Hot and cold. Hope and loss. Held and broken. Hurt and healed.
Occasionally, this centripetal remembrance requires a time out and space in. Seeping inside infinite Now. Steeping within the embrace of Mother Nature. Stepping into nurture our own nature.
Such is the power, purpose, process of ritual transition between winter and spring. Honoring when shadows shorten and daylight lengthens. The scales tip towards illuminating warmth, so we attend and attune this seasonal shift.
It is an integral return of our sacred energies — often forgotten amongst the noise, hustle, clutter of technological society. Materialistic modernity forsakes the sacred, which weeps yet waits to forgive and revive us.
Such rejuvenation happens as we journey back towards our original wholeness. It is a joyful homecoming to befriend ourselves and other selves. As we cultivate our landscapes both inner and outer, cull excesses, curate essentials, we emerge anew ready to rebirth our gifts and inspire our communities.
Spring initiates an activation of sprouting ascent from underground potential to visible actualization. To moderate this germination as sustainable growth, we must breakthrough without breakdown or burnout, overdoing or overwhelming ourselves.
This requires clarity, purposeful wayfinding and resilient strategies to breakthrough without burning out. Another practice for springtime is cultivating loving kindness towards self and others in the process.
