Hestia Magic holds space for you to expand into greater possibilities that go beyond your wildest imagination. Since 2014, our nature retreat sanctuaries offer a distinct connection to the land and an invitation to rediscover your own rhythm.

 
 

WHAT IS THE WRITER’S RETREAT?

Experience the power of quiet and the space to receive

Half the battle of moving through creative blocks is getting clear enough to receive the insight that wants to come. There is a powerful energy on Hestia’s lands that support this process. We’ve designed an intentionally held experience in nature where every detail– from meditation spaces on the land to the sleeping spaces chosen for you and wellness sessions curated around your needs– help clear distractions, overcome creative blocks and make room for ideas to come through.

We offer more than uninterrupted space. The land inspires insight and creativity to flow naturally. Writers have come here to listen for what wants to be written, finding renewed inspiration along the way.

The experience is held with a personalized container of support around you. Receive as much or as little as feels right, from nourishing meals and peer connection to a custom session with a gifted healer curated around what may help you get inspired and unstuck.

The amplification begins before you arrive. We assign you to a team of masterful space holders who take time to listen deeply to your needs and intentions in order to uncover what you are here to create, where the writing feels stuck, and what might help it move forward easefully. From your first conversation through the closing ceremony, your creative intention remains at the center of the experience.

 

A CLOSER LOOK AT YOUR RETREAT

1. SETTING YOUR INTENTION

After completing the online form, we'll meet to talk about what you're working on, the questions you're carrying, and what you hope to welcome or release. This conversation helps us shape the retreat around what will support you most.

2. THE ARRIVAL

Before you arrive, our team begins preparing for your stay and holding your intention. Together, we consider the environment, privacy, structure, and creative rhythm that may best support you. An opening circle helps anchor that intention once you arrive.

3. UNFOLDING AND RETURN

Throughout the retreat, subtle and thoughtful support remains available as your writing unfolds. A closing ceremony honors what has moved, closes the container, and helps you carry a more spacious and intentional way of creating into life at home.

  • You choose your writing time and flow. Our team helps you shape a rhythm around your intention.

  • Yes. Workspace and Wi-Fi are part of the stay. Ask us about the setup for your accommodation.

  • Optional meals and additional sessions depend on availability. We can discuss what would help.

  • You have private accommodation, with optional peer support when you would welcome company.

  • Mount Shasta: Each writer has private lodging with a mini kitchen. Eco Cabin stays also include a private bathroom.

    Paliuli: Each writer has a private suite. Most accommodations share kitchens and bathrooms, while the Mango Suite offers a private kitchen and bathroom.

    Both sanctuaries welcome up to 5 writers across 10-acres, leaving plenty of space for quiet and as much or as little time together as feels right. The land and gathering spaces are shared.
